The Goddard School is a licensed preschool that teaches children as young as six weeks through pre-kindergarten and operates a before-and-after program for elementary students. With highly qualified teachers and administrators, we provide a fun, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate program.
Duties
Job Description:
The school-age teacher is responsible for caring for and educating a group of children, designing and implementing lesson plans, and managing the students as they learn through play. Teachers are responsible for keeping their classrooms organized and clean and communicating with parents in person and in writing. All teachers work full-time, year-round.
Our early childhood teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Lead Teachers will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe environment and work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.

Requirements
Education - all candidates must have **one** of the following:
BA in Early Childhood Education or related field
AA in Early Childhood Education or related field
Child Development Associate (CDA) (or at least 12 college credits in Education)
Be currently enrolled in either a CDA or an Associate's Degree program.
All candidates must **also** have the following:
Must have a valid driver's license to transport children to and from school safely.
Experience working with young children; school-setting experience is preferred.
Comfort with technology for lesson planning and parent communication.
Mastery of the English language, as spoken and written, to permit effective communication with parents.

Salary range: $17 to $20/Hour, depending on qualifications
